UnNews:President Obama Misses Record-Breaking BYU Comeback in NCAA Tournament

Dayton, Ohio -- In an amazing turn of events, the Brigham Young University Cougars overcame a 25 point deficit to beat the Iona College Gaels in the 14th seed play-in game of the NCAA national basketball tournament; the biggest comeback in tournament history. Ironically President Obama, who was scheduled to watch the game, not only missed the dramatic finish, but was instrumental in its occurrence.
According to a Secret Service member who asked to remain anonymous, President Obama had attended several games and together with Prime Minister David Cameron decided to leave before the start of the "Mormon" game to hit a local pub.
"I really don't want to watch these crazy right-wing conservative Mormons play basketball", said Obama. "Lets make like Bill Clinton and blow this joint."
"No problem", replied Cameron, "but we won't inhale...or maybe we will."
By the half time, the two world leaders were too inebriated to even recognize a basketball.
BYU struggled early in the game and with 6:12 left in the first, the Gael's Ra'Shad James sunk a free throw to put the Gaels up 49-24.
"It was then that I started looking around and didn’t see President Obama," said BYU forward Noah Hartsock. "I told a couple of my teammates, and we started playing better."
As the word spread, starting at the 2:57 mark, BYU went on a 9-0 to end the half at 40-55.
"At halftime, I told the coach, and he told the team," said Hartsock. "I don't know why, but when we thought the President was there, the whole team felt like their abilities were being severely taxed. Knowing that the President wasn't there was like this terrible taxing burden being lifted off the shoulders of the whole team and we really played better in the second half."
In the second half, the Cougars held Iona to only 17 points, winning the game 78-72.
