SKOSHI CHINMPO, Japan -- Just days after returning from captivity in Iran British sailors have sensationally signed a £3million contract to star in a new ITV TV show "Celebrity Mock Execution". The show will reinact events during their time in captivity and will be hosted by former SAS hardwoman Bruce Forsythe.

Each week a celebrity will take on the role of an Iranian guard and enact a "mock execution" on one of the ex-captives. Additionally a member of the public will also be chosen as a contestant who will threaten the men (and woman) with imprisonment / execution unless they cooperate and confess. A cash prize of up to £250,000 will be won by the contestant depending on how many of the sailors crack and confess under their duress.

Unsurprisingly the Ministry of Defence actively supported the sailors decision to depict their ordeal via Saturday tea time television, "In another act that has typified the brave dignity shown by these men (and woman) we fully support and indeed endorse, their decision to further educate (and indeed titilate) the British public on what happened to them."

The news comes just a day after the sailors agreed to star in a Japanese Manga kids cartoon depicting their ordeal in "the unique, child friendly presentation of Manga cartoonery". Titled "Super Action Team Iran Monkey Force Omega Go!" (pictured above) the cartoon is due for broadcast in the Autumn of 2007 on the Nick Jr channel.

One of the captives was typically humble this morning, "What with the prospective range of action figures due out for Christmas we'll be fricking millionaires!"
