Ynys Llanddwyn is a popular retreat for members of the Welsh Expansionalist Movement.

The Welsh isle of Ynys Llanddwyn reiterated its demand that the Maldivan island of Heenamaagalaa return the vowels it borrowed one weekend while the two were briefly neighbors during the Mesozoic Era, but never returned. Heenamaagalaa, one of 40 uninhabited islands comprising the Pacific's Gaafu Alif Atoll, again rejected Ynys Llanddwyn's demands, adding, "If you want them, come get them."

Spokesperson for the Welsh Expansionalist Movement, Llynowylldain Dwrgynnwllwr, stated today that "Ynys Llanddwyn is often mistaken for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobllllantysiliogogogoch since we have lost our vowels".

The large geographic distance now separating the two land masses, coupled with the earth's continued cooling, would seem to minimize the likelihood of direct confrontation for several billion years.
