Responding to the news that one of the nation's favourite television actors, Roger Lloyd Pack, has passed away, the entire nation of Britain is paying tribute.

Lloyd Pack was a key part in one of the most famous scenes in British sitcom history, and, in an homage to the star, citizens are forming groups to act it out. Buckingham Palace issued instructions to all Britons:

This tribute requires at least three men. Person 1, the right honourable Del Boy, Person 2, Trigger, as portrayed by the late Roger Lloyd Pack MBE, and a barman. Women who wish to take part in this role can play the parts of Yuppie Bird 1, or Yuppie Bird 2. The script is as follows:

Person 1: "I think we're on a winner here Trig, alright? Play it nice and cool, son. Nice and cool, you know what I mean."

Barman passes by inconspicuously, opening the hatch of a bar, or, when no bar is available, miming the action.

Person 2 stands in an electric blue suit, looking around gormlessly.

At the time of writing, pubs up and down the country were already beginning to fill up with devoted Fools and Horses fans, laughing and crying hysterically as the famous scene was repeated again and again. In one pub in Dulwich, so many would-be "Del Boys" insisted on falling over with full glasses of wine that the pub became waterlogged.

Joanna Corey, president of the Only Fools and Horses Fan Club, told us, "It's a horrible day, but we can celebrate the man with this tribute. Did you see?? He fell through the bar!"
