Restrict this template?

Shouldn't this template be protected from editing by non-admins? It's shown on the front page, so only well-formed and humourous stories chosen by the news team should be added to it. Not shitty stories like this one, which anyone can add. 213.165.173.124 20:32, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

I disagree. There has been very little vandalism of this template and it's hard to find by noobies. It would be very annoying for admins to constantly have to review new stories and add them. yeah so you might be able to see a {{15}} at the end of the unnews section. It appeared after I added my article, so it likely was my fault, but I can't locate the line of code that is making it appear. Thumbnail images

Just curious as to the technical reason for why thumbnail images are not allowed on this page. --Composure1 21:20, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Basically, yeah. Thumbnail images produce that ugly frame around the image, which in turn messes with the formatting and would probably do something God-awful to the IE-displayed Main Page. I never read this comment - I was going by what it says on the edit page. If I changed the policy, I guess I changed it back without realizing it. Anyway I always waited and allowed the editor to add mine, it seemed a reasonable thing to me. As the current editor I assume full responsibility for the content, but OK - how about this?
