I really liked parts of this. Have you considered editing it to a shorter version for people who don't know much about Yes?

Hmmmm[edit source]

(Author) Could do, I suppose. But it works quite well in its current form (plus I think people will only actually read it or search for it if they are familiar with the band anyway). Individual band members to follow.

Article now complete and revised, for good I'm sure--thehallway 13:06, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
I just wanted to add that the writer Sog makes a very good point about your article. It only needs a minor rewrite to set up the story with some non-Yes specialist background before plunging in with what is otherwise an interesting read. Then it would have a very good chance of getting a VFH. As this is also a site where anyone can edit, you may get more helpful ideas when writing and editing an article. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:42, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
I'm only really "okay" at specific humour/things I know about that others also do. But, if someone else was willing to create such a set-up, I'd love that. It would definately benefit the article.

What a shame that Yes, a good band, is, thanks to viral videos, reduced to a joke. Icons-flag-au.png MUN MyOwnBadSelf, 'Be warned, mortals, for I have returned!' (talk - stalk - block) 07:24, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

To be fair, thanks to JoJo and those memes, a lot of teens have discovered Yes (if the YouTube comments for "Fragile" and "Close to the Edge" are any indication), which they would not have otherwise known if not for those memes.--Abacab (talk) 10:24, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, that's true. I suppose I shouldn't be saying 'X ruined Yes!' I should be saying, 'X attracted renewed interest in Yes!' Icons-flag-au.png MUN MyOwnBadSelf, 'Be warned, mortals, for I have returned!' (talk - stalk - block) 23:45, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
@Abacab: You should mention it in the article. Icons-flag-au.png LDA MyOwnBadSelf, 'Does it look different enough for y'all?' (talk - stalk - block) 03:46, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

What if, in the caption to the picture of the time and a word album cover, you replaced what you currently have with: "The Time and a Word album cover was originally intended to be the cover for a Scorpions album, but they rejected it", or something like that? The cover has always reminded me of Scorpions album covers, especially the ones from the 70s.

I'll take your suggestion, thanks for it. I'm planning on finishing this article sometime in the future, I never quite finished it because it's so long and I was getting tired editing it.--Abacab (talk) 05:20, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
