AWESOME --Chronarion 18:18, 23 Sep 2005 (UTC)

The X.Org guys liked it too - comments from Ajax and Daniel Stone on my LiveJournal and an email from Daniel. So X.Org won't be taking out a contract on me, which is reassuring. XFree86, on the other hand ... - David Gerard 18:41, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Very Funny... As for the best porn browser, the fast forward feature in opera is great for viewing image galleries, and can be operated with only the left hand. Hydroksyde 11:12, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

So I am told. I've edited the article accordingly - David Gerard 13:09, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Good, insightful, fun - as opposed to most of the other Uncyclopedia articles, which may be humorous, but often have to resort to nonsense and plain out bullshit to try to be funny. This one, however, is funny while (mostly) completely true. Well-played sarcasm, not pointless absurdity. Thumbs up from Sin(PI)@pl.wiki.

crap para needing work[edit source]

This isn't completely disposable, just close. It was tacked on the end of the intro. Anyone up to rewriting it closer to reality?

Rumour on ARPANet has it that the name X-Windows was coined when co-inventor Xander Xaxxu, in a fit of lucidity, drew a big red "X" across reams of bloated and uncomprehensible source code that his personal elf-slave Stevaus Ballermillo had written during a wet dream. The shape and orientation of this X mark subsequently became used as the logo for X-Windows, with the original slogan "because we just dont give a shit."

and another[edit source]

Xdoor

This is a locking device that can close and open your internet connection it also controlls the door in the Xaiver Institute in the sub-basement. You can set it in lockdown mode which locks down your internet and also the facility and it makes the guns shoot at anything, and risky mode, Which disables all security features on the door and the institure, Making it more vurnurable to virus, spam, spambot, zombiebot, disablebot and angel invasion.

Xorg.fire[edit source]

I was thinking of adding a section based upon Xfire (the IM software that integrates with Computer Games, and allows one-click connections to games your friends are in). I hope most people have seen the Xfire bars in signatures on forums (they have the user's Xfire name, their status [online/offline], their most played game this week, and their most played game of all time). I am thinking of having it be an advertising for Xorg, either advertising Xorg against their nonexistent Linux competitors or so users can show off how much time they have wasted spinning cubes in Xgl/Compiz. What do people think about this?--(~Sir)Nuke || Talk v MUN v Not An Admin v Completely Unimportant 23:30, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
