Umm...I don't get it. --71.111.77.10 06:26, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Wait... wasn't this article featured?--TKF 21:20, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Yes it was. Don't know how that was missed. I'll add the Featured article template now. Spang talk 02:47, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

I see your customary inconsistent punctuation of lists, don't think I wouldn't notice! Although since this is back-dated work, I will be lenient in this instance. May I lend my trivial power here? Amused that you didn't utilise the wonderfully colourful "hoo-ja-kim-tammy" instead of "doo-dah" in the Mass Production section :P --Ceridwyn 06:36, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Heh, grammatical inconsistency; is' fun!. You can lend you trivial powers to any of my articles you wish :) And, I'm ashamed to admit, I've never heard of a "hoo-ja-kim-tammy" before. But whatever it is, it sounds fascinating! Spang talk 09:04, 3 Dec 2006
/gasp - i thought u lived in scotland! a hoo-ja-kim-tammy is similar to a whatcha-ma-call-it or thinga-ma-bob. i just thought it might be more colourful than a doo-dah :P
I shall employ my trivial powers as I see fit then! --Ceridwyn 09:42, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I do, but I've never heard that before! Maybe it's from a different part than I live in.
Your edits were brilliant, as usual. Though I note you've added three full stops again... maybe I should just always add 3 more randomly whenever I write an article? Spang talk 10:16, 3 Dec 2006

I always thought that if there's a colon before the list, there shouldn't be a full stop at the end of each list entry. It seems to flow more without them. -- Mitch Icons-flag-au.png 14:14, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Well I'm just looking for consistency. Normally I don't like full stops at the end of list ::entries, but i felt that:
  • Asplode.
was a lot funnier than without the full stop, so i added full stops to them all. The whole point of the edit was to make the punctuation of that section consistent. If no full stops works better, then be my guest and remove them (ALL) :D
kudos on the other edits you did though Mitch, speshly the MS Paint cave paintings :D
As for your suggestion regarding adding 3 random full stops to any articles you write Spang, well at least that will keep me busy finding and removing them :P --Ceridwyn 02:37, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Whoopsies, thanks for pointing that out Mitch, I do indeed still have to sign, and do attempt to be vigilant about this. Now that we have that cleared up, where do you stand on the "to consistantly punctuate lists or not" debate? (edit - i attempt to be vigilant, not a vigilante) --Ceridwyn 02:37, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
This is a debate now? I try to make things consistent within articles, because trying to make all articles consistent with each other is pointless. This is pettiness at its finest! -- Mitch Icons-flag-au.png 03:02, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Actually my calling it a debate was an attempt at humour, which clearly failed. All I'm saying is that you reverted my correction of the punctuation of the list, back to an inconsistent state. I don't want to begin a revert war, hence I'm asking here if you agree to changing it to either completely full-stopped or completely not, rather than just one at the end of *Asplode. Neither am I seeking to make all articles consistent with each other, as I agree, that would be an exercise in futility. I never professed to attempting anything less than trivial edits, its my gift...and my curse. --Ceridwyn 03:58, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
I think I know what you mean now. I probably should have changed all the things on the list to start without capital letters, and then only have one full stop at the end. At the moment it looks halfway between what either of us are going for. I'll change it now, but if you think your way is better, change it. Be vigilant. -- Mitch Icons-flag-au.png 04:19, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
I think I'll just let this one slide, in all fairness it wouldn't be a Spang-written page if it didn't have inconsistent punctuation of a list anyway.
you are correct that since it has a colon it should not have full stops on the end of each list item. its the one after Asplode that so offendeth mine eyes. but i think i'll just leave it, because at the end of the day, you are right, its too small to worry about.
"And they all drank lemonade! The End!" --Ceridwyn 04:31, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
This debate is thrilling! People actually taking an interest in something I've written! Anyway, I've had another one of my lists (can't remember where) corrected so each line has a comma at the end, except the last, which has a full stop. So it reads like a sentence, just split over different lines. But then again, I know nothing of punctuation of lists. And I just like to confuse things further. Spang talk 04:48, 4 Dec 2006
No no, the debate is over. :D I shall go and read up more on punctuation I thinks (I must confess I do actually own a book on punctuation which I have been known to read for leisure purposes =/ ) I've decided to enforce a new rule on my powers, if no-one cares its fine, if anyone cares, let it be! As for the comma idea, I don't know if I like the sound of it ;P --Ceridwyn 05:19, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Recent edit[edit source]

I don't really think it adds anything to the article TBH, it was a featured article without the molecules "shooting each other" so we can probably live without it now :D --Ceridwyn 00:19, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I was planning on reverting that, but forgot! Thanks for the reminder. The carte-blanche you have on my userpage probably extends to all my articles too - if you think something needs fixing, I trust that it does need fixing! Spang talk 03:10, 22 Feb 2007
At the risk of starting arc3.0, awww fanks XD --Ceridwyn 04:34, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Reality reflects unreality[edit source]

I read this and immediately thought of the water powered bus: http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:John_Kanzius_Produces_Hydrogen_from_Salt_Water_Using_Radio_Waves
