I like this because its so true, it makes me laugh my head of when I read it. --124.189.93.28 09:43, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

From Pee Review[edit source]

I wrote this as a companion piece to Martin Van Buren, mostly because I was struck with the sudden realization that the character bashing in that article is basically the platform that William Henry Harrison used to get elected in 1840. This article is a really good example of my "actual content can be funny" philosophy. The whole log-cabin campaign was so anticlimactic (due to Harrison's death after only one month in office) that you don't need to throw in absurdity to make it funny. Anyway, tell me what you think. --Kwakerjak 02:20, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

P.S. I already know that it needs more images.

This is fantastic. I uploaded two 1840 images for you as 1840pic1.jpg and 1840pic2.jpg. I'll see if I can do something amusing with either of them, but they should complete this fine article nicely.--Procopius 02:30, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
And I added a cartoon, as you'll see. If you want to get rid of it, no worries. Just a thought.--Procopius 03:12, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
I love it — it's perfect for the semi-realistic tone I was going for. --Kwakerjak 04:06, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Nice job here.[edit source]

I don't check out Uncyclopedia a lot because the level of humor has started to disappoint me, but this article was very funny and - from what I remember from my US History course - decently accurate as well. Thanks for the laughs and giggles --Johnfn 01:33, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
