Vanity - I contributed an awful lot to the Spending Challenge website. Strangely, the government didn't take up any of my suggestions. To add insult to injury, they eventually banned me. The article is a collection of some of my Spending Challenge suggestions with some padding and pictures.Murc O' Garage 12:56, December 15, 2010 (UTC)
Ok. Do I understand MPW and MOG are related? And is there a Soggy connection here too?? Just curious. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:07, December 15, 2010 (UTC)
MPW & MOG are one and the same. Soggy picked up on the article, did some edits and some tips on formatting.Murc O' Garage 17:33, December 15, 2010 (UTC)

You forgot the part about changing the speed limit signs from kph (kilometers per hour) to mph (miles per hour), and using United States measurements instead of the metric system in the part about drawbacks of becoming a part of the United States. Otherwise, jolly good job, great job guys. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 01:43, December 15, 2010 (UTC)

UK has something of a dual approach, mixing metric and what is called 'the imperial measurements'. Speed/distance is in MPH and feet, inches ,yards, miles etc sometimes with metric and sometimes not listed below. UK was supposed to go fully metric in the 1970s but the old system survived in parallel and still does today. If some countries are officially bilingual (like Canada), UK is 'bi-measurements'. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 07:17, December 15, 2010 (UTC)
