Talk:Strawberry

A note from the Author: Really loving a lot of these additions, but I believe for one the whole fungus thing is a bit pointless, and the evolution theory is just not as funny as creationism in general, as with making something up for creationism will end up funny almost regardless. Also the Types of Strawberry section is a nice addition, but some of it really lacks any humor. I'd either suggest fixing it up, most likely try and make it a list of weird things given the name strawberry (really the only truly funny on there currently is the Mexican one), or scraping it completely, as to be honest there really isn't much more need than the 'true' strawberry and the common one. So yeah, I'm saying this because I really like a lot of the smaller additions towards the punchlines, but these larger text areas are just killing the humor created from the punchlines the other sections. Also, the 'other theories' works quite well with my sexy strawberry image, but it also needs to be fleshed out, possibly a reference to Scientology would work, and a variation on the Xenu myth. But personally, I really dislike th fungus thing... it just doesn't work with the whole sexy thing... fungi are just not sexy, nor really funny (fruit is... i mean look at the banana's shape, or the pineapple up Hitlers ass in Little Nicky). Feedback to my comment would be welcome, so any new readers who come to this section I would like to know what you think about the fungus addition, and the list of strawberry types, and if enough people are in favour to scrap them, I will. --Taydus 06:30, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Ok, done. Changed the whole fungi thing, added xenu, and will eventually get around to fixing "Types of Strawberries", in time, once ideas worth putting there come to mind. If you liked the old fungi version better, post a reply here and we can discuss a way to make it work with the whole article. --Taydus 13:14, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Changed the Types of Strawberries section a bit, but I still don't like it much... I need ideas. --Taydus 12:08, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
