No Redeeeming Value? I think there's some ! It's cute: it's got 3 pictures, some spurious history and the expression 'WTF'. It's got great potential! Well done the writer for starting an article for Skeletor. --Seamus Mahoney 18:49, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the kind words, but I didn't start the article. It's been floating around as a stub for awhile, and I just decided to try to save it because I've been vocal about how people should try to save NRV pages that might have a future, and I thought I should practice what I preach. I don't know if anyone finds what I've done funny except for me but I've tried for a mix of satire and silliness. Anyone who has comments, I'll read whatever you care to say.

The NRV tag predates my changes, and I've been in communication with the person who placed the tag, and as of last contact, they still don't like the quality of the article, so I'm going to have to keep trying unless other people want to help, which would be great. I'm far from a creative genius, as you may have gathered by now.

This has reminded me that He-Man exists, which is pretty awesome in and of itself. I'd like to get the dvds that just came out some day, but I think I'll put that off. It's way too easy to go crazy buying all those old dvds that are coming out of cartoons from the 80s for nostalgia value and go broke :D

It looks like a good deal of the page as it stands will have to be replaced, since it apparently violates BFANJS. I personally think it's funny, but I guess we're supposed to try to reach consensus on this sort of thing. Honestly, I think skeletor having the mind of a 6 year old who can barely type is funny. But apparently other people don't.

I removed the leet/1337/typo stuff. I think it was funnier before though. Comments?

--RudolfRadna 21:24, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

I removed the NRV for a few reasons, one of which is that the page is under construction and has been expanded since the template was placed, so NRV is inappropriate under the new policy. Also, based on the history, this page had been around for a long time before it was NRV-marked. That's also inconsistent with the new NRV policy.

See http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/UN:NRV for more information.

Hey RudolfRadna! I used to love Masters of the Universe, so I'd like to help out with this article. I love what you've written, but it's a bit disjointed - I suggest a rearrangement of the article to break it up a bit better (like for instance: The Early Years, His First Sword of Power, Rivalry with He-Man, Thundercats Recruit Skeletor etc.) I'm pretty new to unencyc so I'm wary of making massive changes u just have to revert later...

Jump right in! The thundercats angle sounds great, I was mainly just trying to think of some things in there. The best gag in my opinion is the joke about skeletor getting the he-man page on uncyc deleted (which it is, permanently it seems), but I'm not sure people got it. I'm willing to wipe it all and start from the beginning if the page ends up funnier.

I havn't had time to work on the page lately, but if you want to do anything, that sounds great, and you can always put a message on my talk page [[1]] if you have any questions or need help.

Btw, check out this from [[2]]:

'Excerpt from newly discovered Bible scrolls in Brooklyn

"I am Moses, leader of the Jews. This is Aaron, my eloquent friend. Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I raised my magic staff and said "By the power of YH'WH!!! I HAVE THE POWER!!!"

Only three others know this secret, our friends, Miriam, Zipporah and Joshua. Together we fight the evil forces of the Pharoah."'

That's my doing too :D

Have fun!!

Ok so I basically rewrote the whole damn thing. I tried to go for the kind of cliched one-hit-wonder actor story, like when you look up some obscure actor on Wikipedia and find that some fanboy has written a whole essay on the guy.

Hope I'm not pissing anyone off, but going by the comments on here, no one's given Skeletor much attention for months. I also archived the old one (which looks like it used to be good, but got ruined) here. Superbo 23:47, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Actually I'll put it on peer review first Superbo 01:01, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
I wish they'd really put a skeletor statue in central park. Rock n' roll, baby! --Hrodulf 05:37, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Hilarious[edit source]

This is one of the funniest things I've seen yet on Uncyclopedia. "I LOL'D" Yes I did too. --Narcissus Black 17:55, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
