In Soviet Russia, I herd mudkipz liek YOU!

This may be the ultimate in lack of humor, cleverness, originality, readability, and humor. A Russian Reversal joke. Combined with a mudkipz joke. I applaud this IP and suggest he get a humor transplant.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 04:07 Sep 30, 2007

Any reason why this page is now so much shorter than UnSource:List of Russian reversals? They're the same page, after all. --205.150.76.42 21:46, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, comrade. Stalin is to been purging with page of reversings that are suck. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:57, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

The Real Situation[edit source]

From Russia with love, fellas. See, the reason those jokes sometimes are successful is for one simple thing: the Ideology of Soviet Russia, formed approx pretty much the same time the U.S. Founding Fathers created their Constitution, was pretty much alike, but from the opposite end (with a 'minus' sign, one may say) - as like every word and every conception has been turned out, like a sock. See, the two ends of the world live and develop in the opposite directions: west usualy tries to place an individual and his interests in top of the croud, while east tries to put society above individuals.

So one may say, there pretty much ARE some of the reversals, and they DO work (not to mention the moronic ones in that article). In Soviet Russia - in the real Soviet Russia - you got robbed by cops instead of them protecting you from the robbers (so keep away from them cops); you got robbed and accused by lawyers instead of defence (so never try none of them ffs); if you're a singer, YOU have to PAY for your song to be broadcasted on TV or radio (that's the most ridiculous yet actually working idea); YOU must protect YOURSELF from children for not being accused a pedophile (they treaten to tell on you, if you won't pay them); YOU cannot kill no president (like JFC), but the president can easily kill YOU with any militiaman; if you're in Moscow, YOU do not pay your houseworkers - they often pay YOU to keep their work in town; if in states you have to pay for education - in russias you get payed for education, though not too much; if in states or in thailand you have to pay for going to army, in russias you have to pay if you do not want to be forced in army by the government; and so on, many parts differ, yet they can live, and it's still ok somehow )

Lol I remember "In soviet russia, towel dries you!!" It was funny because it wasn't a real reversal. --Stikman! (talk) (Contribs) 22:41, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry if any of these have been used, but in Soviet Russia, ideas copy YOU! --S0ckpupp3t n00b 18:22, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

I hope this is true[edit source]

In the article, i found this phrase:

The Russian Reversal, in its purest form, is based on the dualistic theorem that:

  • America is both free and good.

Ergo, they are opposites. If something is good in America (as all things in America are), that very same thing is bad in Soviet Russia (ditto). Mathematical proof of this, made by diabolical commie scientists, is available.

If it is true that there is a mathematical proof of this, can someone provide it? I'd be facinated to see it. 207.233.124.3 00:06, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

    • I don't know if you will be able to find any mathematical evidence of anything in Uncyclopedia, so don't bother asking. 75.70.219.144 15:51, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Reversal Russian[edit source]

IMO, it's not as funny as it could be. I was expecting the whole article to be a Russian Reversal, like even reversing regular sentences. I'm not sure. Any ideas? (90.202.67.70 16:41, 16 January 2008 (UTC))

Go read Russian reversal (phenomenon). That's the good rewrite of this old silly article. --AAA! (AAAA) 23:33, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
That doesn't fit 90.202.67.70's bill. --Qzekrom sig trans.gif This has been an automated message by Cute Zekrom (talk) 00:05, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

A bit special though. In China there's a broadcasting channel called CCTV, hence : In Communist China, you watch CCTV. In the U.S.A., CCTV watches YOU!!--Kirochi 12:56, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone actually pay attention to this page anymore? --AAA! (AAAA) 00:38, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Never since it was protected... That's dumb.--Kirochi 15:52, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Papyrus[edit source]

Papyrus looks ugly in America and Soviet Russia alike. Change the image of the book from a png to a jpg. It should remove the papyrus.

Top of page..[edit source]

Should have:

“In Soviet Russia Russian Reversal Reverses you!!!”

~ Russian Reversal on Russian Reversal

It's not funny, so no. Also, don't add Russian reversals to every damn page. And sign your comments. --MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 21:44, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Hmm...[edit source]

I'm Russian. People say that I'm scary. Ya think responding with one of these *coughstupid* jokes would disarm them, or would they just say that I'm scary AND lame?

SirGestions and Sausage Roll Corner...[edit source]

Just an idea, but the page says "in soviout russia, bank robs you" why not change it to "in england bank robs YOU!!" half way thru the list, cos it might be funny xD

or

"in Canada bank robs YOU!!"

"in America bank robs YOU!!"

....this one just doesn't work as a reversal, its true everywhere and should be in exceptions.
