How is this article entertaining or funny in any way? It's more like a Rafael Nadal fan page. 117.195.194.238 13:21, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Exactly my sentiments...this is more of a fan page..and portraying him in an exaggerated fashion doesn't make it funny. The aim of uncyclopedia is to provide misinformation in a humorous way,not creating pages that pay tribute to something or someone.Someone ,pleas edit this page and make it more entertaining

Rafael Nadal is funny (Charlie Brown 14:00, 5 February 2009 (UTC))

This article is too accurate. It should be in Wikipedia instead of here. 69.128.53.157 17:17, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

The point of Uncyclopedia isn't to make up random nonsense. It's to be funny. The idea here is to present the real Nadal in a ridiculously over-the-top hyperbolic manner. I doubt wikipedia would devote a whole paragraph to an extended metaphor about Nadal being a camel. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  19:17, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, this isn't very funny at all. 117.197.215.56 09:02, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

This is absolutely hilarious! Nothing about it should be changed - including the incorrect '2009 victory' – Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.36.101.159 (talk • contribs)

That question has already been answered. Please read Mickey's response. Also, humour is subjective. Sir SockySexy girls.jpg Mermaid with dolphin.jpg Tired Marilyn Monroe.jpg (talk) (stalk)Magnemite.gif Icons-flag-be.png GUN SotM UotM PMotM UotYPotM WotM 22:15, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

2009 Victory[edit source]

This is a weird argument for me to be involved in, because I'm always changing stuff for not being true, but the part which states Nadal won this year's French Open is different. The article is intended to present a completely exaggerated, hyperbolic account of Nadal, satirising his portrayal in the media in the process. When people write about Nadal or talk about him on commentary, he's always a bull, or a pirate and his muscles are made of stone. They don't call him a camel, but playing him on clay is often compared to crossing a desert.

Exaggerating his achievements at Roland Garros fits in perfectly with this. A lot is made (deservedly so) of his excellent record on clay, with all sorts of amazing stats. More by luck than judgement, we've ended up with a good joke on this theme and we should keep it. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  20:50, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

And Federer records? 189.100.234.240 21:53, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

What about them? This article is about Nadal and the article on Federer has a completely different concept. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  11:36, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Blackness[edit source]

How do you make everything on the page black and change the uncyclopedia icon? 212.127.133.51 20:41, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

It's not something that you can do using standard wiki code. You have to do something fancy with jss or something. I had to ask Spang for help. It can be a difficult thing to do, so you'd have to ask nicely and/or have a good reason for changing the appearance. -- 15Mickey20 (talk to Mickey)  23:14, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah I thought you could do it with css, but it does not seem to work when I try it between <css> </css> 212.127.133.51 09:34, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
Ha I got it. Thanks, I found a userpage on the uncy I work on which had some examples of how to do it. 212.127.133.51 09:43, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
