Alright folks! It was starting to bother me about how Mississippi didn't have an entry, so I gave it this initial entry. I need to work on continuity (IE: making sure it flows). I'm not going to bother much with pictures. You guys can add those.

Could someone change the education section to this, my comp won't show the graphic to add url's:

edit: i can only do the second footnote since the first link does not exist anymore. i hope that works out

Education[edit source]

In 2004, Mississippi was ranked last among the fifty states in academic achievement by the American Legislative Exchange Council's [ Report Card on Education #1], with the lowest average ACT scores and spending per pupil in the nation. Mississippi students scored the lowest of any state on the National Assessments of Educational Progress in both math and science [1]. Lets see Texas try and beat us on that.

Seems a bit off[edit source]

Looks like someone who has never even been to Mississippi wrote this as most of it is down right rude and not funny. So I took some time and fixed a few things Because I lived there for 5 years.

made some changes[edit source]

it bothered me how our state article doesnt have a proper infobox so i went ahead and put the descriptions into the box. i hope it doesnt bother yall with the images moving if yall were lookin on desktop. speakin of images, i placed more photos for yall to look at. i have also added extra paragraphs into some of existing sections and added two new sections while also edited the last section on state symbols and renamed it. plus i added a polite 'thank you for reading our article' just for goodness sake. ill occasionally fix grammar (ironic how a native mississippian is actually doin that) and add in extra details here and there. aight, im done for today.

VFH failed as stale[edit source]

Archived VFH.

Just putting here for reference. Needs to be better to get more traction. --Gale5050 complain about me! And see my Wikipedia contributions! 23:59, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
