This is great! Given that the game is also known as Snakes and Ladders, you could certainly make something of a psychoanalytic interpretation of the snakes. Also, in terms of your metaphor, note that ladders actually require effort to climb, and chutes are fun to slide down, so that the games highs and lows somewhat contradict actual experience. One of the few Uncyclopedia articles that isn't a complete joke and has some basis in intellectual thought, even if it is too much original research for the real Wikipedia (although I know half of it is a joke, there is some truth to the idea that it can be a life lesson game).
