Is an American version, consisting of baseball umpires expected to come out any time soon? --Jsonitsacsig.jpg jsonitsac talk to me crimes against humanity01:37, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

When I made the article, I was actually considering putting a section in about AoU3 being a baseball game for the American market, but I don't know much about the sport, so left it as cricket. --Hindleyite Poet Lowrate Talk 10:27, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
If you wan't I can help you out. I should would write it my self, but I've never played AoE and you may have a different vision for the article.--Jsonitsacsig.jpg jsonitsac talk to me crimes against humanity17:20, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Sure, but it could be worth starting a new article for this: depends on how much material we can get without exhausting the concept. That way we could adopt a completely different tone altogether (or not as the case may be).
Most of this article relies on 'British' humour, and likewise perhaps the Baseball version should be overly 'American': an alternative version for America...
As for its 'AoEness', I don't think that the existing article has too many elements specific to the game (apart from the screenshots), rather more generic war/strategy game bits. I'm not too bothered about it being 'faithful' to AoE. Basically the Baseball version would have new box art and adopt a more American stance. --Hindleyite Poet Lowrate Talk 17:52, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
