Says it all really (sorry for the noob-ness I'm kinda new here)--Infernal 20:42, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Please be more clear as to what you mean (maybe with pictures or yelling) cause I don't have a clue what you're talking about. --Sir Zombiebaron 23:23, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
I think he means a template. --~ Tophatsig.png 00:40, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Like this?

My advice: if you want to create your own template, simply go to the template's article page (ex. Template:Bat Fuck Insane) and view the template's source code for some inspiration.

My advice: Don't fucking make templates. Ever. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 2/11 02:46
Making templates is fine, just don't overspam them. Keep them to a few articles and they are part of a good joke. I have in the past both added and removed templates from articles. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 06:25, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I think templates are fine so long as you make a new one for each page you visit. We have a selection of templates for people to use everywhere that's... extensive. Every template you could possibly want already exists, so don't bother making one for everyone else to use. Chances are you'll be the only one who uses it (and often, the only one who finds it funny, too).--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 14:30, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
you mean this (ab)use it sparingly. --Olipro Icons-flag-gb.png Anchor KUN (Harass) 21:57, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
If you "make a new one for each page you visit", don't make a fucking template. That defeats the whole purpose. Put the code right into the page. The problem with templates, as Crazyswordsman pointed out, is that they get overspammed. It doesn't matter what they are, or how non-appropriate they are for the articles in question. People lacking creativity and normal intelligence think that spamming templates on a multitude of unrelated pages is the pinnicale of humor. It is not. It is lame. As our template collection has grown, so has the level of template spamming. An occasional organisational template here and there is fine - but death to all other templates. I hate them as much as I hate lists and spammed quotes. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 2/11 23:11
Yeah, I meant what Famine said. Obviously you shouldn't go, make a template, then put the template on just one page. That'd be stupid. But then, spamming them is stupid, too...--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 02:06, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Or, since any page can be invoked as a template, if you're making a template for a group of articles, you could create it at [[MainArticle/template]], and add a colon to the code when you invoke it, ie: {{:MainArticle/template}}. Neat, self-contained and doesn't clutter up the template namespace.  Sir Tooltroll, Esq. CUN  Eh?  Oh!  UnTunes! Cannabagreen.jpgI Card-hearts-up.gif my cat! 10:07, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
