Forum:Pushing Daisies main page reskin, anyone?
I just created this main page reskin yesterday with a Pushing Daisies theme to it. I also asked TheLedBalloon if it was funny enough to use on Wednesday (Oct 29), and he said that while he's unfamiliar with the show, I should ask you guys if you're familiar with the show and will get all the jokes. I went as far as to make my own Featured Article template reskin
It's a fantasy comedy-drama about a piemaker named Ned who can bring the dead back to life with just one touch, but there are consequences to his gift. A private eye named Emerson Cod hires him to bring back those who have died under mysterious circumstances, and usually, murder is involved.
Take a look at the page and see if you get all the jokes. The "Today's featured corpse" is not a real article, but rather a plot synopsis for episode 2.02. However, the "Yesterday's featured corpse" is a real featured article. Thank you very much.

- Um, all it seems you did is change a couple words here and there, but that is usual reskins, however why would we need a pushing daisies reskin in the first place?

- I changed the colors up a bit more to make them brighter and match the show's candy colors. The reason for a Pushing Daisies reskin is to give the show some more exposure, get people to start watching the show Wednesday nights @ 8/7 Central on ABC and getting its ratings up high enough for it to not get canceled. I want this reskin to be used this week, so that people know it's on.

- Alright I understand, when I first saw it it wasn't done. But now it seems it is. However the color combination's, especially on the featured article section seem to be hard on the eyes. If you look at the main page now, it is quite easy to read everything, but Purple Green and Black is really annoying to me (and maybe other people too). I have no opinion on whether to do this. However, black text on a purple background is a non-starter. No way.
