[Insert obligatory "lol" here] ~ Ghelæ talkcontribs 15:57, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Blimey. They spend nearly three times as many words discussing whether it should be aluminium or aluminum than they did in the actual article. Freemorpheme.gif 20:53, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, well... that's because the people who want to spell it "aluminium" are trolls! They don't care about building the encyclopaedia! Their edits are all made in bad faith! They just want to cause disruption! And if they don't stop trolling, there will be consequences! You have all been warned! What's more, I'm not going to respond to this thread any further! At least not until more disruptive comments are added, which I'm just going to revert automatically! So you might as well not even waste your time!  c • > • cunwapquc? 01:21, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
What really bugs me is why they even said that FFVIII's fanbase was just as big as FFVII's, even though everyone hates FFVIII, and FFVI and FFX clearly have more fans than FFVIII. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 18:15, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Well, personally I'm sick and tired of these FFVIII trolls trying to take over our encyclopaedia with their endless POV edit-warring and their childish, petulant whining about FFVI and FFX! (Not to mention FFIX!) And what's even worse is to see admins who should know better about the well-sourced, properly-cited, commonly-known superiority of FFVII, taking the side of the trolls against other admins — and doing nothing while they make their vicious personal attacks! Whose side are they on, anyway? The trolls? It's intolerable and absurd! These people are terrorists! They won't stop until they've destroyed the project!  c • > • cunwapquc? 00:37, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

We need one of these lists unless we already have one... --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 09:05, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
If we had one of these lists, the Fisher Price debate would crown the list. --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 16:28, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Followed by Euroipods. ~ Ghelæ talkcontribs 16:37, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
It's actually the reverse. Euroipods war was bigger than Fisher Price war. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 18:15, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
I don't think either of those come close to Romania. There are like 2500 edits of that article, most them blankings and reverts. It's insane. Not to mention the talk page rivals Euripods/Fisher Price in hilariousness. And then there's Poland. --Sir ENeGMA (talk) GUN WotM PLS 19:29, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
For sheer ferocity and number of attacks, nothing tops the Romanian invasion of summer '05. For long-runningness, Euroipods wins. Fisher Price is maybe a distant third. —rc (t) 00:44, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
I'm sick of Trolls like you. Fisher Price was the lamest edit war ever according to all reliable sources, there's no question about that, stop trying to inforce your senseless POV. You should be banned immediatly!---Asteroid B612B612.jpg (aka Rataube) - Ñ 13:43, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Odd, then, that for all the edit wars and all the chaos, the final result was so little - we don't have a Rumanian-language or Lithuanian-language Uncyclopedia and out of all that effort all we have here is a few pages about each country (such as the "What I Didn't Know about Romania" series) which now rest mostly silent. There are entire wikis of Uncyclopedian content in Finnish, Polish, German, Brazilian and the like but the total Romania, Latvia or Lithuania collection could be counted in one digit numbers.
And then there's always Tourette's MICK Syndrome. Worst 100 Reflections on 2005 lists a few prime examples - they might not match en.wp for sheer stubbornness in claiming "I'm NPOV, every edit adding anything that goes against my agenda is vandalism, even if I'm deleting information from Mail-order brides about agency scams (Russian mafia? What Russian mafia? In Soviet Russia article reverts YOU!) or disputing the fact that a wife-swapping club might not have much use for a single male" but there have been at least a few infamous edit wars here. --Carlb 02:36, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
I was just looking over that page a couple days ago, reminiscing. The Red Shirts debate, while not primarily an edit war, was pretty heated for a while. —rc (t) 02:56, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
