Christmas is nearly a month away, and this year we've come up with a great idea: we will record the first ever Uncyclopedia Christmas Album and sell it with proceeds going to cover our server costs. Never before has anything like this been attempted in the history of the internet! A number of ideas have already been floated around on IRC so I thought we should get some of this down in writing on the wiki so we remember it and actually do it. One thing idea that I like especially is that we do a Band-Aid-style group song at the end of the album using some form of voicechat. Another idea I like is that the album be a concept album about Mr-ex discovering the meaning of Christmas. But we don't have to use those ideas, I'd like to hear what everybody's ideas are and get as much of the community involved in this project as possible. So yeah, let's all just brainstorm ideas for a week then start trying to get some stuff actually recorded. -- The Zombiebaron 10:01, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

Count me in. I'll try to write a song. Maybe we can all record our own vocal tracks for a parody of Do They Know It's Christmas? and combine them all? --EMC [TALK] 18:36 Nov 20 2014
I'm writing a parody of Twelve Days of Christmas. Somebody else can sing it though. -- Lost Labyrinth It's Britain bitch! (t)(c)(a) 19:32, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
I can write a song, but I sure as hell can't sing a song. --Talk to me! Sir Xam Ralco the Mediocre 20:36, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
Is a music video a possibility? Maybe all the famous people from the first band aid and some from the one that's happening now wlaking into the studio, and then someone logging onto his laptop to pause a porno and open up uncyclopedia? Also I like the idea of a specific user in a well-established christmas story. --EveryOtherUsernameWasTaken(get dtf) 07:47, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
I say we go for quality over quantity. Twelve hit and miss tracks on an album would suck. I like the Band Aid idea (do they know it's uncyclopeda dot co?), or funny spoofs of christmas songs, or good recordings of old featured stuff (kippery?) Leverage (talk) 09:49, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
I say we do the opposite of what Leverage said. Quantity over quality. That's our motto. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 15:07, 23 November 2014 (UTC)

I have a possible theme: Do They Know It's Christmas?, as directed to members of Islamic Extremist terrorist groups. "Let's say a prayer - a prayer for the hairy ones." Leverage (talk) 16:04, 23 November 2014 (UTC)

First draft: UnTunes:Do They Know It's Christmas? Leverage (talk) 11:22, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
The girls wear lots of clothes made me laugh, but it's a bit dark and specific to IS maybe as subject matter for what will obviously be the title track on the album. Sorry I don't yet have any brilliant ideas, maybe it could be the charity anthem about those poor uncyc editors?

I am bad at song-writing, so I am not sure I can participate, but just so you know: this is a great idea and we need more of those. Anton (talk) 17:38, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

I've put together the only two songs that were actually recorded here: Annual Christmas Album/2014 --EveryOtherUsernameWasTaken(get dtf) 12:52, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
