Okay, so you'll probably think this is a stupid idea, but here goes:

I have noticed that this wiki now has a Requested Article thingy. I have also noticed that from time to time you start an initiative week, like "Forest Fire" or "Rewrite". My suggestion is a "Create Requested Articles Week". Or something along those lines. Where people rather than creating random articles about obscure (or fictional) subjects, write encyclopedic articles about stuff people want to see written but can't be bothered.

Or, of course, this may already exist, and I'm just stupid. Or, we could just suggest people do it when they want. Just a thought. – Preceding unsigned comment added by Nameable (talk • contribs)

No. no. And NO! Too much work and will fail, just like you fail to sign your posts.--Almost Sir Random Crap

How about we have a... "Edit stuff in the mainspace a bit more and create a few less pointless forums eh" Week? Now, I think that could really work well. MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 22:34, Jul 29
I like the idea. I am also now obligated to mention that I have *cough, cough* a usergroup partially dedicated to doing just that. Also, it's better than IC. Also, don't listen to Bad Shroom. —Unführer Guildy Ritter von Guildensternenstein 22:36, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
So now I have to sugarcoat my posts? I'm saying that it's a terrible idea, and this topic should be killed with fire. DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!! Anyway, Guild's group is a good idea.--Almost Sir Random Crap
I like both the ideas of whoever wrote this post and of MrN9000. Also, I want to thank Bad Shroom for extending the popularity of my glowing radioactive signature icon. (Crusty admin trolling for the win, or something like that) --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke.gif 22:39, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
My pleasure. I just couldn't find a "me" sig image, so I took yours.--Bad Shroom 22:41, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Approved. "Create Requested Articles Week" will be held 52 weeks out of every year, and anyone may join in at any time. Spang talk 23:10, 29 Jul 2009
Which means 1 day out of the year (2 days if it's a "leap-year") no articles are allowed to be made. Thanks for ruining Thanksgiving. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 23:34, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

  • For More Forest Fire Weeks; Hey, remember how everybody always votes against those things and how they have been mentioned on this page already? Well I'm voting for and there's nothing you can do to stop me. -- The Zombiebaron 05:41, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
