Authentication[edit source]

Porchesia was deleted at 18:30 GMT, which would be 20:30 Porchesian time, or 8:30 pm in Porchesia . This image clearly shows that it is evening in Porchesia at the time of the event. According to our calculations based on the light levels at the position of Porchesia(34° 28' N, 34° 30' E), and the light levels in the Southern Hemisphere, the time of this blast was between 18:30 and 18:35 Porchesian time(16:30 and 16:35GMT) on around September 30th. Additionally, this appears to be the initial blast given the intensity at the blast site. By calculating the mass of Porchesia, and the amount of material displaced by this initial blast, the entire process would take around two hours, putting the complete destruction of Porchesia at around 18:30 GMT. This would seemingly authenticate the photo. R 15:32, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

A sad day for the Porchesian people indeed. --71.234.251.146 19:49, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
