I've pondered, quizzed and queried. I even contemplated my navel. I don't think your worries are justified.

Two pics (and small number of pages) do not a meme make. I see it as a "burp" on Uncyc, rather than a seismic shift. Is it the start of a tsunami of Islamist satire? Doubtful, simply because it's too hard to make it funny (or something approaching funny, at least). Can pics be used for evil? Yes, but with the chilly reception to and the prompt departure of SOADLuver I doubt we'll be seeing much of that despicably bad and mean spririted brand of image.

Is this a good 'chop? As a 'chop of pics from three radically different sources it's not technically perfect, but it works. Is this pic funny? IMO, yes. Pass or fail should be for that, not because of a negligible risk of meme-ism. I respect that you find it's wearing thin. Again, I nom'd this because it has been almost two months since I 'chopped it, and it still makes me laugh (a rarity for me).
