  • Weak Against. This joke deserves a better picture. If it was anyone else, I'd vote for, but Modus' PS skills are well-proven so the bar should be a bit higher. Freemorpheme.gif 23:29, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
To be honest, I'd rather see this not make feature rather than redo it, because as a cartoon that satirized the cartoons that parodied Muhammad (or, more importantly, the reaction thereof) this was my first overtly political edit for Uncyc. Also, it's funny. As this is a cartoon, my 'chopping skills are superfluous (if it was a 'chopped pic, it would be something else. What it wouldn't be is this). As a comic, it works quite well IMO, far better than its pencil-on-napkin origin would suggest.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 00:21, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
It looks like a rough sketch, which is exactly what it should look like for this picture. --User:Nintendorulez 19:24, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
I didn't mean make it a picture, just more like a political cartoon in ink. Or at least get rid of the smudges. Freemorpheme.gif 20:44, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Not to sound like a diva or anything, but the cartoon came from the caption (which was stuck in my head for a week before I made the sketch), and the caption says "sketch". Plus it's one of the few times a drawing turned out on paper exactly as it had appeared in my head. I'm not trying to be bullheaded; that sketch, smudges and all is a favourite of mine. The simple pleasures are what make life worth living.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:22, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Weak For Image contains vanity. The signature is not needed regardless if it seems appropriate for the joke. It's just like signing an article. Spacer.gifSpacer.gifPremierTomMayfairChe.png RedPhone.png Unsoc.png Hammer and sickle.png 16:00, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Comment or Weak Excuse If I 'chop it, it goes unsigned (as it's just playing with somebody else's pic/s/). But, for the most part, if I draw it it's my baby. That's not my name, that's my baby's name. ...I'm surprised no one has pointed out that I don't sign with my real name...--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 16:26, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
I just figured you're real name was "Modusoperandi"... --Sir Zombiebaron 14:01, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
No. That would be cool, but no.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:54, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Political cartoons always have signatures on them. This makes it realistic. --User:Nintendorulez 19:29, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Your sketch[edit source]

assole at least respect religions, motherfucker dont do it again, son of a bitch. I hope it satisfies U, but one who himself is a respectless nation what they will feel. unsigned, by 213.158.19.103 (TalkContribs (del)Block (rem-lst-all)WhoisCityProxy?WP Edits)

Hi! Thanks for you interest in my pic. Respect is earned. I give religion, and its practitioners, the respect that they've earned. Liberals practitioners of the various religions I don't mind, for the most part; it's the nuts on the edges that I don't respect. They demand respect without earning it. They demand that those who ask questions, poke fun, and whatnot, be silenced. They demand that no one question their deeds, believing that because it falls under the umbrella of religion, any action (no matter how reprehensible) is justified. Their actions demand reaction, and that reaction, among other things, is this pic; all that they've earned is my loathing. Have a nice day. --Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 01:52, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
