Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr. AIT), probably given that name to get aid from the government, is one among the countless colleges in Bangalore, India.

History[edit | edit source]

As with any other government aided colleges in bangalore Dr ait was formed in with the collaboration mainly three people:

  • a founder Sri M.H.J.P.N (whose full name no one remembers)
  • a group of politicians who instead of taking bribe from the founder became trustees instead .They still come to college along with their corrupt colleagues to inaugrate any fest or statues (the management loves building statues) to give their highly uninspiring speeches (especially when elections are coming near)
  • A group of unemployed teachers. The main reason for the college to start was to provide employment to teachers, who they were sure would have not have lasted more than an hour in other colleges.

Goals and Objectives[edit | edit source]

The college management's main goal is to recruit every unemployed person as a attender ,teacher or if he is so worse make him the H.O.D.

Its other objective is to build statues of the founder (or of Ambedkar) at every corridor of the building.

Building[edit | edit source]

The building pictures are put up on college website. The site photo gallery has many photos of front elevation with gardens shot from every possible angle. The management did not want to spoil the college image and had given strict orders to the photographer to shoot only the front side. This has lead to lot of confusion among website visitors. This has created a illsion that there is nothing behind it and visitors go away after seeing the front portion
